Gem art Jewellery has been specialising in the creation of Gemart Globes since 1922 and has chossen Sapphire Jewellers to be its sole distributer in Malta. These unique globes and maps are stylishly designed and handcrafted using over 20 different kinds of top grade gemstones from around the world. Each country is precisely hand cut using contrasting genuine gemstones including Amethyst, Abalone, Picture Jasper, Tigers eye, African Jade, Mother of pearl to name a few.

These prcious pieces are then individually inlaid and surrounded with a sea of crushed genuine gemstones. The Globe and map are then lacquered with a smooth glassy finish to protect and preserve the surface. Due to the natural raw material used in each and every Globe, no two pieces are the same, which make them not only unique but more valuable.

As part of Gemarts company policy and strong ethical belief, no force or child labour is used in any part in the creation
of the globes. Moreover whenever possible recyled & recyclable material is used during the manufacturing and packaging
process.
